A mixture of Victorian classic design and modern use of space. This bathroom project is intentionally kept simple to drive forward it's ease of maintenance for this busy family in Essex. A wonderful finish using budget friendly utilities and accessories and a touch of classic design elements through the use of wall panneling and iron radiators.
A beautiful victorian home, with such a wonderful space for a bathroom. With this volume of space, the choice is really unlimited. We decided to keep the style and layout traditional, sympathetic to the how the original bathroom would have been.
We decided to run painted panels around the circumference of the bathroom, topped with edging to complete the look. We introduced a victorian styled bathroom suite, choosing to invest a little more budget on a beautiful roll top bathroom which provides a focal point for the bathroom whilst also providing a relaxing place to take a dip every now and then. The basin is multi-edged, designed to look traditional whilst also provide slightly more space in the dish to hold water.
The Victorian-era is such a vibrant period to draw inspiration from.
The WC is low-level, with the cistern connected with a custom chrome pipe which matches the beautiful stylings of the low-level radiator which appears to be cast-iron, but instead uses modern materials to ensure energy efficiences. The floor tiles really set this room apart, which presents a beautiful geometric floral design through the entire room.
In a true testament to the product quality of Albion, each product came fully packaged with protective casing to protect it from scratches or general damage in transit. Combining a number of different Albion products enabled us to keep the style the same for each corner of the room. We ordered the Albion toilet, basin and cistern in the Iron style. These looks extraordinary and completely transform the room into something far grander.
Spacious, simple & within budget. This beautiful bathroom project is a great example of design under budget.
